Privacy policy

The aim of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to inform users about how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information collected through our Website or Platform Services (collectively “Services”). The use of information by third parties we do not control or workers we do not manage is not covered by this policy.

You accept the practises outlined in this Policy by using or accessing the Services, and you consent to our processing of your information as set forth in this Policy currently and as revised by us.

  1. DATA WE COLLECT
  1. Customer Information. Filament may collect some contact information from you when you show an interest in receiving more information about the Services or register to utilise the Services, such as your name, organisation name, address, email address, and phone number. You may be needed to supply additional information while enrolling for the Services, such as a credit card number or other banking or payment information. By giving information, you agree to allow us to use and retain it in accordance with this Policy.
  2. Service Information. We also collect Service information made or given by you for these purposes, which may include information submitted by the user and message content, which may or may not contain Personal Data and may or may not be structured.
  3. Website. Filament’s websites employ frequently used information collection technologies like cookies and our servers record some information automatically when the Services are accessed, such as information given by browsers. The identification of the device, its operating system, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers, and crash data are all examples of this sort of information.

  1. HOW WE USE DATA

  1. The information we collect is used to help our customers measure their performance, better understand their customers and improve their product and service offerings. It is also used to manage Customer accounts, provide Customer support, enforce terms of service, manage our business, and provide aggregated insights and statistics to help our customers measure their performance, better understand their customers, and improve their product and service offerings. We may also use it for additional purposes that you were informed about at the time of collection.

  2. This Policy is not intended to impose any restrictions on how we use aggregated and/or de-identified data. It is no longer linked to a specific user or customer of the Services, hence it is no longer considered Personal Data.

  1. 3RD PARTY DATA SHARING

  1. Authorised Agents and Service Providers. Filament may use third-party sub-processors (referred to as “Agents”) to help us provide the Services and run our company. Agents may include technical operators such as database monitoring, data storage and hosting services and customer support software tools. These Agents may have access to Personal Data that they need to execute their duties, but they are not allowed to distribute or use it for any other reason. Processing of Personal Data by such Agents may include transfers of Personal Data, depending on the location of the Agents.

  2. Lawful request. Filament may share or disclose data in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, as well as to react to legitimate requests, court orders, and legal process.

  3. Change of Control. In specific instances, Filament may opt to acquire or sell assets. Customer information is often one of the business assets exchanged in these sorts of deals. Furthermore, customer information would be one of the assets transferred or acquired by a third party if Filament, or substantially all of its assets, were bought, or in the unlikely event that Filament went out of business or entered bankruptcy.

  1. SECURITY

  1. On behalf of our customers, Filament serves as a Data Processor. Customers operate as Data Controllers, which means they choose the goals and methods for processing personal data. Filament is not responsible for the use or disclosure of Personal Data that users provide directly to a third party, and it is the user’s duty to read and consent to the privacy notice of that organisation.

  2. Customer data security is a primary focus for Filament. Filament takes commercially reasonable organisational and technological steps to protect Customer Data kept on Filament’s systems against unauthorised access, use, modification, or disclosure.

  1. ACCESS, CORRECTION AND DELETION OF INFORMATION

  1. At our sole discretion, this Policy may be modified from time to time for any cause. Any major changes to our Policy will be communicated to you by publishing the new Policy on our website. It is recommended that you review this Policy on a frequent basis for any modifications.

  2. You accept the practises outlined in this Policy by using or accessing the Services, and you consent to our processing of your information as set forth in this Policy currently and as revised by us.
